It seems like it is open season.......anyone in the govt. ,h.o.c ,quango,police etc thinks that it is their RIGHT to handsome rewards.

My mole at Southend Council informs me that the 'Leader' of Southend Council-it's a shitty little dormitory town at the end of the Thames Estuary- has decided that he should get paid £37,000 p.a...........doesn't sound too bad,does it?
The real sting is that he does 13/14 hours 'work' per week!!!!!!!!!
I suggest that you all do some investigating in your own backyard and see where all of your hard earned goes!

It seems like everybody & their dog connected with politics in any way have their finger in the pie - or rather, their snout in the trough. It almost seems like we have gone beyond the 'voting for change' stage & what's needed is a revolution/purge, resulting in the HoC being drastically downsized, ditto all the local authorities & the (un)Civil Service (no more Diversity Outreach workers - if people want to live in the UK, they'd best adapt to UK customs), quangos abolished & all their members sacked, without recompense, MP & other public service pensions monitored and, in most cases, downsized. A proper police investigation into cash for honours, death of Dr David Kelly, the dodgy dossier, MPs expenses & bank/building society failures with suspected wrongdoers brought to trial - and punished - severely. All illegal immigrants rounded up & shipped back to their godforsaken holes in the ground, without any further nonsense, their DNA, fingerprints & photos stored on the Borders Dept(or whatever they call themselves) database. All incomers not holding British passports to be checked against this database before being allowed entry & to be shipped straight back out if they're on it. ID cards to be dropped & any contracts already signed for ID card work cancelled - again, without any recompense. The Benefits System to be overhauled so that living on benefits is no longer a lifestyle choice for the feckless or foreign. A nationwide vote of whether or not we should remain in the EU - and action taken based on the result. Having cleaned out the Augean stables, there will then be a good quality of life for all residents prepared to put their shoulders to the wheel & work for the good of the country.
